Terms of Use
Last updated: May 2026
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at teamtree-service.com (the "Site"), operated by T.E.A.M. Tree Service ("T.E.A.M. Tree Service," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the Site or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
The Site is provided for informational purposes — to describe the tree care services we offer in the Tampa Bay area and to let you request a quote. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form;
- Attempt to disrupt, probe, scrape, or interfere with the Site or its security features;
- Use the Site to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content;
- Copy, reproduce, or redistribute Site content except as allowed in Section 3.
2. Quotes Are Inquiries, Not Contracts
Submitting our online form, calling, texting, or emailing us is a request for a quote— it is not a booking, a service agreement, or a binding contract. No service is scheduled or guaranteed until:
- We have inspected the job (in person or by photo) where needed;
- We have issued you a written estimate; and
- You have accepted that estimate in writing (email, text, signature, or our online acceptance), and any required deposit has been paid.
Pricing, availability, and scheduling shown on the Site or discussed by phone are preliminary and subject to change until a written estimate is accepted.
3. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site — including the "T.E.A.M. Tree Service" name and logo, page copy, photographs of our crews and completed jobs, graphics, and page design — is owned by T.E.A.M. Tree Service or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial reference (for example, to share a quote with a household member). Any other use — including republishing photos, reusing copy, or displaying our logo or business name on third-party sites or marketplaces without written permission — is prohibited.
4. No Warranty / "As-Is" Disclaimer
The Site and its content are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we work to keep information accurate, we make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about:
- The completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any content on the Site;
- That the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses;
- Any specific outcome, cost, or timeline based solely on information on the Site.
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The warranties that apply to completed tree work are set out in your signed estimate or service agreement — not on this Site.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, T.E.A.M. Tree Service, its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption — arising from your use of the Site or your reliance on any information on the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to your use of the Site will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100.00). This limit does not apply to liability that cannot be limited under Florida law.
Liability for the tree work itself — including any property damage or personal injury arising from a performed job — is governed by your signed service agreement and our insurance policies, not by these Site Terms.
6. Third-Party Links and Services
The Site may link to or rely on third-party services (for example, Google Maps, Cloudflare Turnstile, Resend for email delivery, and Google reviews). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third-party site or service. Your use of them is at your own risk and governed by their own terms.
7. Estimates
When we send you a written estimate, it is governed by the following terms in addition to any details written on the estimate itself:
- Validity: Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless a different period is stated on the estimate. After expiration, prices and availability may change.
- Scope: An estimate covers only the work specifically described. Anything not listed — additional trees, hidden hazards, stump grinding, hauling, permits, etc. — is not included.
- Scope changes: If conditions change or you request additional work after the estimate is issued (for example, removing an extra limb, grinding an additional stump, or working in a less accessible area than described), we will quote a change in price before performing the additional work whenever practical. In a true emergency where waiting is unsafe, we may proceed and bill the reasonable additional amount.
- Deposits: For larger jobs, a deposit may be required to reserve a date — the amount and refund terms (if any) will be stated on the estimate. The job is not scheduled until the deposit is received.
- Acceptance: Work does not begin until you have accepted the estimate in writing (email, text, signed copy, or online acceptance).
8. Service Agreement (Work Performed On-Site)
When you accept an estimate and we perform work at your property, the following service-agreement terms apply in addition to anything written on the estimate or signed work order:
- Licensed and insured: T.E.A.M. Tree Service is licensed and insured in Florida. We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation. Certificates of insurance are available on request.
- Property access: You authorize us and our crew to enter your property to perform the agreed work, including using necessary access routes for equipment.
- Customer preparation: Before we arrive, you agree to remove or clearly mark breakable items, lawn ornaments, potted plants, hoses, low-voltage lighting, irrigation heads, pet enclosures, and similar items from the work area and drop zones. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked items in the work area.
- Underground utilities: Aboveground utilities are visible to our crew. For any stump grinding, root work, or excavation, you are responsible for disclosing the location of private underground utilities (irrigation, low-voltage wiring, gas lines for grills/pool heaters, septic lines, etc.). We will call 811 for public utility marking when required by law.
- Weather and access exclusions: We may delay or reschedule work for unsafe conditions including high winds, lightning, saturated ground, or any condition that puts our crew or your property at unreasonable risk. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, acts of God, locked gates, blocked driveways, or other access issues outside our control.
- Unavoidable lawn impact: Tree work — especially removals and stump grinding — can cause minor lawn rutting, sawdust, or surface scuffing in the work area. We clean up debris and rake the area but do not warrant against minor surface impact that is inherent to the equipment and work performed.
- Debris and stumps: We haul all woody debris from the work unless otherwise stated. Stumps are not removed or ground unless stump grinding is specifically listed on the estimate. Surface roots and feeder roots beyond the stump are not removed.
- Payment: Payment is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise stated on the estimate. We accept cash, check, and major credit/debit cards. Past-due balances may accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month (18% per year) or the maximum allowed by Florida law, whichever is less, plus reasonable collection costs.
- Warranty on workmanship: We stand behind our work. Any specific warranty on workmanship will be stated on your estimate or invoice. Tree work does not include a warranty on the future health, survival, or growth of any tree or stump treatment, as those depend on factors outside our control.
- Cancellation: You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed job up to 48 hours before the scheduled start without charge. Cancellations inside 48 hours may forfeit any deposit and may be billed a reasonable mobilization fee if our crew is already en route. Emergency jobs may have different cancellation terms stated at booking.
The signed estimate or work order for your specific job is the controlling document. If there is a conflict between this Site Section 8 and your signed estimate or work order, the signed document controls.
9. Communications and SMS
By submitting our quote form or contacting us, you agree that we may contact you by phone, SMS text message, and email at the number and address you provide, for purposes of responding to your inquiry, scheduling, and following up on the job. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you.
10. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Before filing any legal action, we ask that you first contact us in good faith using the details below so we have an opportunity to resolve the matter directly.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
