An assessment reviews the tree's structure, canopy, trunk, visible root zone, site conditions, and signs of disease or pests. The arborist also considers nearby homes, utilities, traffic, and other targets if the tree could fail. You receive a clear recommendation for monitoring, treatment, corrective pruning, or removal based on what is found.

Yes. We provide written recommendations that summarize the condition observed and the next step, such as monitoring, treatment, pruning, or removal. Permit and insurance reports can require a different format or level of detail, so tell us how you plan to use the document when you schedule the assessment.

Not automatically. Tampa's Self-Certified Private Arborist program uses a city forester or a City-approved SCPA report, and Natural Resources reviews the documentation. Tell us the report is for a Tampa removal permit before the visit so we can confirm the correct route, required format, and whether the assessor meets that program's requirements.

Assessment fees and tree-work estimates are quoted separately, and any credit depends on the assessment scope and the work recommended. We confirm the fee and any available credit before you book. The arborist's recommendation remains independent, whether the right next step is monitoring, pruning, treatment, or removal.

Visit length depends on the number of trees, access, the concern being investigated, and whether you need written documentation. A single residential tree takes less time than a multi-tree risk review. When you describe the property and purpose, we can estimate both the on-site time and any report turnaround.
