We answer the phone 24/7 and dispatch the nearest available crew. Outside of major storm events that usually means same-day response; after a hurricane, calls run in order of severity — trees on occupied homes come first — so call as early as you can.
In most cases, damage on your side of the line goes through your own homeowner's insurance regardless of where the tree grew. Document everything with photos, call your insurer, and we will provide the removal and the written documentation your adjuster asks for.
Not until the utility makes it safe. Call TECO or Duke Energy first — they de-energize or clear their lines, and then we remove the tree. Never approach a tree in contact with a line, even if it looks dead.
When a tree damages a covered structure, removal is commonly part of the claim — but every policy differs, so confirm with your insurer. We photograph the scene before and during the work and provide written documentation to support your claim.
